Fakir is a typeface produced by Dutch-based font foundry Underware. Fakir is described as a blackletter with a holy kiss, a contemporary interpretation of gone letterforms with its origin in blackletter. I created a brand identity for Fakir that highlighted its inherent qualities. Taking influence from early magician promotional ephemera and the transition from the magic of the eastern fakirs and gurus to the western magicians.
